Dawson Springs Elementary proudly serves the families of our community in a close-knit, rural setting where relationships matter and every child is known, valued, and supported. Our school is made up of diverse learners, caring families, and dedicated educators who work together to ensure that students are not only academically successful, but also confident, compassionate, and prepared for the future.

I am honored to serve as principal of Dawson Springs Elementary School, a place I have proudly called home for the past 14 years. During that time, I have had the privilege of working alongside incredible teachers and staff who are deeply invested in the success of our students and the strength of our school community.

My connection to Dawson Springs Elementary is not only professional—it is deeply personal. Both of my children attended Dawson Springs Elementary School, and as a parent, I experienced firsthand the high-quality education, strong relationships, and sense of belonging that define our school. There is no greater source of pride for me than knowing my own children were nurtured, challenged, and supported here. At DSES, once a Panther, always a Panther—a belief that reflects the lifelong impact our school has on the students and families we serve.

Our mission at Dawson Springs Elementary School is clear and uncompromising: Dawson Springs Elementary School, where the teachers and students give 100% every day, and failure is not an option.  Panthers Prowling to Proficiency.   We believe in high expectations, strong support systems, and a culture where effort, perseverance, and growth are celebrated. Our Panthers are always pushing themselves academically while being supported every step of the way by caring adults who believe in them.

We believe students learn best when families and schools work together.
