If your family's Thanksgiving feast included the traditional TURKEY, it did not include these turkeys, as they were effectively disguised by Mrs. Clayton's kindergarteners. Way to go, Panthers! You saved these turkeys from becoming Thanksgiving dinner!

Last Friday, our elementary school held its monthly assembly for November. It's always a GREAT day when we gather together. Congratulations to all of our Panther honorees! It's because of you that DSES is THE place to be! #GoBigPurple

With a recommendation from the Center for School Safety, and in an effort to keep our students and campus safe, we will be implementing a new afternoon pick up traffic flow system in front of the elementary school. For those who pick up students in front of the elementary school will only have one lane available. Traffic cones will be set up for one lane. We will have one lane open closest to the sidewalk. Please stay in this lane all the way down Hickory Street to the stop sign. If you are picking up middle or high school students after picking up elementary, please turn right onto Panther Way to pick them up. For those that park in the church parking lot will need to exit the parking lot at the far end closest to the Board Office turning right on Eli Street heading toward Arcadia Ave.
